CopperKing Beef Animal
During the 1950′s the British Government produced a report negating the Cooperbelt as beef producing area sumarising that there should be no beef farming north of Kabwe (Broken Hill)
At Nsobe we have extensivley tested the viability of beef ranching and have found extremely profitable results if one uses locally adapted animals with smaller frames and higher fertility.
The research on this animal to be named the CopperKing has been going on for 8 years. The F1 cross has used the South African Bonsmara onto a dam line of Boran animals from Kenya with possitive results showing in the feedlot for the inclusion of the Bonsmara.
