Game
drives
Drives
are organized in our open vehicle, or you can use
your own vehicle with a guide. We
have 15 antelope species,
plus Zebra and giraffe.
Bush
walks
There are walks cut out in the bush, enabling you to see our varied
flora and fauna. The
predominant habitat is Miombo Woodland, (mainly trees from the
Brachystegia Family). Other habitats include dambos, riverine thickets
and wetlands. We also have thorn savannah and rocky outcrops.
Depending on the time of year, the bush may be dry and brown but
perfect for game viewing, or lushly green and thick during the rainy
season, rich with wild flowers, tree orchids and wild mushrooms.
There is always something of interest.
Birding
We have recorded
over 320 species on the farm, including
Schalow’s
and Ross’s Turaco
in abundance, Narina Trogon, Pygmy Geese,
Temminck’s Courser, African Broadbill and Arnot’s Chat.

Fishing
and Canoeing
We have two large crocodile free dams in which one can catch a number of
species of Tilapia (Bream), carp and barbel.
There
are three-man canoes for hire, or you can fish from the water’s edge.
Swimming
We have a swimming pool, with a poolside Bar and Grill. You may swim in
the dam, or in our natural rockpool which makes a refreshing bush-style
jacuzzi.
Bush
spa
Our
secluded bushspa has a sauna,
jacuzzi and
resident masseuse.
Spotting
a Sitatunga
Our name, Nsobe, is the name for the Sitatunga antelope in our local
languages, Lamba and Bemba. We
are fortunate to have these rare and shy animals.
Around the farm there are hides, into which the intrepid can
climb at dusk or dawn, sit quietly and, with luck, spot a Sitatunga.
Star-gazing

Nothing beats a Central African Night Sky.
We are situated 60kms from the nearest electrified town making
the Southern Hemisphere constellations and the Milky Way spectacular.
TV Lounge and
Lawn Sports
We have DSTV, a pool table, darts, croquet, volleyball, and horseshoe.
Farm Tour
Nsobe is part of a commercial farming venture, where animal husbandry
and aquaculture are practiced.
Tours
of the Integrated Fish (Tilapia)/Pig Scheme and Beef Feedlot can be
arranged.
Hunting
We offer both trophy and meat hunting of some of our species.
